Brisbane, Australia.

Do you take walk in appointments?

Unfortunately not. All our clients are served by appointment only. Any appointment is secured with a $50 booking fee, credited to the invoice of your wedding gown.

How long is each appointment?

For Couture client consultations, we allow 1.5 hours. This involves a browse through the collection, and viewing personalised design sketches prepared just for you. This is also the time to select fabrics from our extensive range and browse our lace samples. We discuss all design elements of your wedding gown, possible variations, and any hidden or unexpected costs that may occur if you change your mind during the fitting process. Fittings thereafter for our Couture clients last 1 hour. Made to Order fittings: you may book in to our Bardon studio to try on the collection before processing your online order. The studio stocks sample gowns only, we do not sell off the rack. A $50 booking fee applies for your 1 hour appointment - this booking fee is credited to the invoice of your wedding gown. We do not take walk-in appointments.

What’s the difference between the Couture and Made to Order services?

Bridal couture is an entirely unique, custom-made service where a bespoke bridal gown is created for you, and you alone. In a beautifully organic process your gown takes on a life of its own from consultation and fittings, through to collection. This process can take anywhere from 4-6 months and is highly personalised - taking into account your personal style, taste in fabrics, as well as exact measurements and proportions. The Made to Order Collection is a range that brides can choose from online, and each garment is proudly handmade in Brisbane. From the time your order is placed, your gown will be ready to ship in 6 weeks. Brides can choose their closest standard dress size using our sizing guide, and request minor customisations to each style.

How far in advance should I order my wedding dress?

Couture: Our minimum production timeline is 6 months, so we recommend getting in touch a minimum of 8 months out from your wedding date. This allows time to secure appointment availability, allocate your bridal gown into our production schedule, and ensures you receive your dress approximately 3-4 weeks ahead of your wedding date. Made to Order: Each style from the collection requires 6 weeks production time. So to allow for shipping time, and any minor adjustments once your dress arrives, we recommend at least 8-10 weeks from your wedding date.

Am I able to customise any designs from the Made to Order collection?

Yes. Most styles have options available before checkout to customise the train length and split sizing. Some of our gowns also come with options for alternate lining colours. If you have any questions about what custom selections will be best for you, please get in touch with us for more specific styling advice info@ashleighjanebridal.com

What is the average cost of an Ashleigh Jane Bridal wedding dress?

The cost of a standard size Ashleigh Jane Bridal gown from the Made to Order collection ranges from $2,250 to $3,500. Customisations and alterations may increase this price range. Our Couture service starts at $4,000 – some variations may occur based on fabric selection and design complexity.

Can I bring someone to my consultation or fitting?

Absolutely, however we ask that brides invite only 1-2 trusted family or friends. We have limited space available to cater to a larger group, and sometimes too many opinions can become slightly overwhelming.
