Prior to an in-person consultation, a quick FaceTime or Zoom call helps brides decide if a custom made gown is the right avenue for them. A quick chat with Ashleigh ensures potential clients can ask all the questions they might have about the process - time frame, budget, and any hidden or unexpected costs in commissioning a couture gown.
Next, the consultation is secured with a $50 deposit, credited to the final invoice of the wedding gown if she chooses to move forward. Several design sketches unique to the bride's personal style are then prepared for the consultation, where the bride (and up to one guest) will meet with Ashleigh to discuss and finalise design direction, record measurements and gown specifications, and begin selecting fabrics.

An invoice is sent to the bride within 3 business days following the first in-person consultation.
The invoice contains details for payment of a 50% non-refundable deposit,
with instalment plan options for the remaining 50% balance.

After the initial 50% deposit is received, production begins immediately on the bride's toile (sample gown). A toile is an early working sample of the finished bridal gown, created in an inexpensive fabric as a means of visualising the end result. This means the fit, proportion and engineering of each gown is adjusted and perfected prior to any cutting or production using their chosen bridal fabrics. Fittings occur monthly, and once the toile is finalised (usually within 1-2 fittings), production begins on the final gown. During this process, the bride will receive samples of her chosen fabrics for colour matching other elements of the wedding from flowers and shoes to bridesmaid gowns.

Once final payment has been received and the invoice balanced, the gown and all package inclusions will be available for collection.
Your Ellie Robe will be the perfect addition to the morning of your wedding. Wear it as you sip champagne with your girlfriends, on your honeymoon, and back home swanning around the house.
Custom illustrations are hand-drawn unique art pieces specific to your own wedding. You will be able to select your favourite image captured by your wedding photographer, and see it transformed into a beautiful artwork for your home by Emma Ferguson.
Shopping around for a bolero or stole to match your dress style and colour can be a headache. Take the guesswork away by having it designed in the same process and time frame as your bridal gown.
A finishing touch that lasts a lifetime - have your wedding date, new surname, or other special reference hand embroidered into the lining of your wedding gown. This panel will be sewn as a separate, seamless piece into the lining of your gown. The removable embroidery can be framed at a later date or added to your wedding album as a distinct memorial.
Ruby and Sage bridal accessories - you will receive any 4 pieces from their range, no exclusions. Use these for yourself (and change your look for your reception), or gift them to your bridesmaids as their accessories on the big day.
